Snowy dreamland
Being at one with beautiful nature, hearing the sound of your own breathing and following your footsteps in the snow. Hiking through the snow-covered landscape in winter and breathing in the fresh, clean air is simply good for you. Take a walk on the approximately 35 km of cleared winter hiking trails and explore the deep snow off the beaten track.
Tip: The Loosbühelalm is open in winter for all winter hikers, snowshoe hikers and ski tourers.
Fairytale hike by torchlight
Every Tuesday and Thursday you hike atmospherically through the winter forest and listen to freely told folk tales. These are about the fairy queen in the ice castle, enchanted trees or the mighty mountain spirit. The tales are accompanied by the sounds of the natural flute. The fairy tale hike is suitable for families with children from 4 years of age.
Time in nature, time to live!
Even on the drive to Großarl you can feel the serenity of the mountain world. Unique and overwhelming, the Alps present themselves radiant white or lush green. It’s time to experience this feeling!
